Corrections policy

Every story shows when it was published and when it was last updated, and lists what it is based on under Receipts.

When we get something wrong, we fix the story and add a dated note to its Receipts saying what changed. We do not quietly edit a fact away.

When a claim is not confirmed, we say "allegedly" and say who is claiming it. If a story turns out to be false, we say so at the top of it.
